At Tri-State Answering Service, we know that

Our family and staff understand the importance of a human voice answering the phone becuase we started in the funeral business, where a human voice and a personal touch makes all the difference.

In 2003, our founder, Dustin Cremeans, began working at a local funeral home. He quickly felt driven to assist families in need.

Dustin attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and returned to the local funeral home to complete his apprenticeship. While working at the funeral home, he recognized a need for a local, reliable answering service.

Tri-State Answering Service took its first call on November 15, 2006, and the company has grown to more than 300 accounts in 29 states nationwide.
